My first official trip to Salt Lake City was fantastic! I wasn't sure on what to expect but it was beautiful. Luckily it had snowed in the mountains the day before I arrived leaving puffy white clouds and snow topped trees and mountains mixed with the already fall colors the first day I was there. It was so puuurty. The actual downtown of SLC reminded me of Davis CA or some older college town. Besides visiting the canyon between the Rocky Mountains, I also went out to the Salt Flats and the Great Salt Lake. Of course I can't leave out FOOD... we had plenty of it. Salt Lake has some amazing vegan food restaurants!

My favorites are the dragonfly and the wonderful textured sand ripples with the grainy gravel sprinkled in. Wow! Of course, the carotene and xanthophyll pigmentation leaves with the snow on them are amazing too. Thanks for sharing! Love, T
